Frequently Asked Questions

How do I register for an account?
You’ll be prompted to register for an account when you make your purchase. If your account has been inactive for more than nine months, you’ll need to create a new account.
Is the ground school certified by Transport Canada?
There is a common misconception that an online ground school must be certified by Transport Canada but that is not the case. Our content is created by current instructors with the help of FTU general managers and airline pilots. After successfully completing the ground school, you will have a letter of recommendation for the written exam.
How can I get a letter of recommendation?
You can get the letter of recommendation from completing our ground school! Please note, you cannot get a letter of recommendation from the Question Bank.
Can I get an extension on my course access?
We don’t offer extensions on course access. If you need more time, you’re welcome to repurchase the course and your previous progress will still be saved (as long as you’ve logged in within the last 9 months).
I can’t log in — what should I do?
If your account has been inactive for over 9 months, it may have been automatically deleted. In that case, you can create a new account by purchasing the course again. If you never received a purchase receipt, it’s possible the email address was entered incorrectly — please email us and we’ll help you locate or correct your account.
Where can I see the results of past quiz attempts?
For past attempts and performance history, visit the My Account section, accessible from the main menu bar or the top-right dropdown menu within the course. Simply click the dropdown arrows to the left of the course and click on statistics for the attempt you would like to review.
