Visual Alteration

There is yet another way to correct for a position error. Simply use the terrain or distinctive landmarks to your advatnage. For example, the coast, highways or power lines may be useful landmarks to navigate. However never rely on one source of information. Be able to verify your position using other sources whether it be visual landmarks, or not.
