Prohibition Regarding Exercise of Privileges

Even after being declared medically fit to exercise the privileges of any given license, if any of the following circumstances exist and could impair a pilot’s faculties a pilot must not fly.

  • The holder suffers from an illness, injury or disability
  • The holder is taking a drug
  • The holder is receiving medical treatment
  • The holder has been involved in an aircraft accident that is wholly or partially the result of taking a drug or a previous illness, injury disability or medical treatment
  • The holder has entered the thirtieth week of pregnancy
  • The holder has given birth in the preceding six weeks
